Are you interested in learning how language develops in infants? How adults learn a second language? How bilinguals can have two languages in their mind? These are some of the central topics you will learn about in this one-year taught Master's programme, which provides an advanced understanding of current research on language development and also the methodological skills needed to conduct novel research in the field. 2005-06 students

The programme covers a range of topics in first and second language acquisition, and bilingualism. Skill-oriented training will be provided through methodology courses, lab sessions and project work. The modular nature of the programme allows you to tailor your study to your own interests.

This postgraduate degree leads to the award of M.Sc. or to a Diploma.
